Oil control systems

A proper oil control system is essential to ensure compressor lubrication and energy efficient cooling. Excess oil in a refrigeration system can cause oil to leak into the compressor. This can damage the compressor in the same way that refrigerant liquid damages. Removing or reducing the amount of oil that enters the consumption line increases the performance of the refrigeration plant. Large amounts of oil in a refrigeration or air conditioning system reduce the efficiency of the system because the oil layer that settles on the inner walls of the evaporator and condenser reduces heat exchange.
